  This is my favorite french restaurant. The service is great, the food excellent fast and delicious. Me and my friends went last night for diner and it was a blast. We ordered starters in 10 minutes we got them. I ordered frog legs my friends crab cakes, escargots, jumbo coconut prawns. The bread so good too. Main dishes roasted duck really good little sweet the sauce but good. Crack black pepper Fillet mignon so tender tasted so good. Prime new York steak juicy tender. I recommend you try any dish because is good . I wish I could upload some pictures everything looks good but taste better.

  Papillon is one of our favorite French restaurants. French food there is amazing, with beautiful presentation, and that's the biggest draw. Service is friendly and not rushed. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is lovely, cozy, and romantic. It's an older restaurant and it can benefit from a slight face lift, so don't expect a polished, modern look. There is an ample parking right next to the building. We love the dining experience and absolutely fantastic food!

  Called and spoke with a women she said please hold, 20 mins later they hung up. Definitely not professional wasting my time. You don’t deserve my business and those reviews about long wait times for food and servers not waiting on customers are very real. Considering they can’t handle a simple phone call. I know it was just a phone call but if your calling yourself fine French dining and you don’t have the proper etiquette on the phone what makes me think that my dining experience will be any good.

  We came here for our anniversary, and we were not disappointed. Not being particularly hungry, we had the appetizer tasting sampler, which included escargot, crab cakes, and lobster ravioli. All were delicious, and that's the first lobster ravioli I've had that contained large chunks of lobster. We also had a lovely bottle of wine, a kale salad, and the macaroon ice cream sandwiches, with the last including a candle and "happy anniversary" written in sauce. The dessert was fantastic. The romantic ambience, with quiet candlelight, fresh flowers, and solid white-tablecloth service was exactly what I was hoping for. So many up-scale restaurants are disappointments, I felt compelled to write about how well this one delivered, a real gem in Fremont.

  It's always a pleasure coming here. We had an amazing anniversary here. Out second visit was for a birthday occasion and once more it was wonderful. It's a hidden gem in Fremont.
